About FlipSave: Service Scope, Data Handling and Editorial Policy
FlipSave is an independent web tool designed to make the process of checking and saving publicly available TikTok, X and Instagram Reels videos easier to understand on a phone or computer.
Last checked: September 23, 2026
Purpose and boundaries
FlipSave focuses on public video posts and on explaining why a request can or cannot be handled. It does not provide features for accessing private content or bypassing authentication or DRM.
FlipSave is not affiliated with TikTok Inc. or X Corp. It works only with information that is available through public delivery paths at the time of a request.
Video files and operational records
FlipSave does not maintain a permanent hosted library of copied source videos. Retrieved information is used to complete the requested delivery flow.
For service operations, troubleshooting, and abuse prevention, post IDs, authors, source URLs, qualities, timestamps, and result status are retained for 90 days. Contact submissions follow the same 90-day retention policy.
How guidance pages are maintained
Guides and troubleshooting pages are written around FlipSave's actual supported behavior, processing flow, and known limitations. The site does not add unrelated topics or large sets of near-duplicate pages solely to attract search traffic.
When platform changes make an explanation inaccurate, the content is revised after the behavior is checked. The current revision date is displayed on editorial pages.
Advertising policy
Advertising loads only on explanatory articles. Input, result, loading, error, contact and legal pages do not load ads. Advertising does not change quality ordering or retrieval decisions.
Rights reports
The terms require users to save only media they are authorized to use. Rights holders can report a specific source URL and explain their relationship to the content through the contact form.
Reports are reviewed using the information provided and the actions available to the service operator.
