TikTok Video Saving Guide: Supported URLs and Limitations
TikTok uses several URL forms depending on how a post is shared. FlipSave handles public video post URLs and TikTok share short links when they resolve to a supported public video.

Supported TikTok URLs
Standard URLs such as tiktok.com/@username/video/number are supported. vm.tiktok.com and vt.tiktok.com share links can also work when TikTok redirects them to a public video post.
The link must identify the post itself. Profiles, hashtag pages, search results, live pages, and other navigation pages are not accepted as video post URLs.
Saving a TikTok video
Open the public video in TikTok or a browser, copy the link from Share, paste it into FlipSave, and start retrieval. If video streams are available, FlipSave lists the qualities it can currently access.
The exact media variants can change by region, device, or platform delivery behavior, so the options shown for one post may differ over time.
Unsupported TikTok content
Photo-only posts, audio-only extraction, private posts, deleted posts, login or age-gated content, region restrictions, and DRM-protected media are outside FlipSave's supported scope.
A public post can also fail temporarily if TikTok changes what information is available to browsers.
When a short link fails
Short links require a redirect to the final TikTok post. An expired share link, a removed destination, or a redirect that no longer points to a supported video cannot be resolved by FlipSave.
When possible, open the post in a browser and copy the full post URL from the address bar before trying again.
Quality and file size
Quality labels come from the video variants that TikTok currently exposes. The highest option shown is not guaranteed to be the original upload quality.
Higher-resolution variants normally consume more storage and network data, which matters when using a mobile connection.
Rights and service status
Use FlipSave for content you are authorized to save. Republishing or commercial use may require separate permission even when saving is allowed.
